Great characters, great plot, great book! I loved Elena from start to finish. She's strong, opinionated and doesn't back down to anyone; not even a sexy archangel! The sexual banter and tension between Raphael, the archangel, and Elena was hot and humorous. There was one point where I had to fan myself with the book! (All I have to say is pg. 163). The suspense of Elena chasing down a rogue archangel kept the book moving at a steady pace. The sexual tension between Raphael and Elena provided witty, sexual banter. I kept wanting more banter and was happy that they didn't immediately hop into bed with each other. I think it would have gone against Elena's character if she had. I did not want the book to end but of course it had to. Nothing was neatly wrapped up. I finished reading the Angel's Blood wanting more. Many questions were left unanswered. For instance, what the hell happened in Elena's past? We were teased throughout the book but weren't told much of anything. Did a vampire attack her and her family? There were references to the sound drip, drip, drip. I hope some my questions are answered in Archangel's Kiss. I love that Archangel's Kiss is centered around the same characters, Raphael and Elena, and how they deal with the aftermath of what went down at the end of Angel's Blood. I look forward to reading how Elena handles her new life.Final thoughts:A must read. Not your typical good vs evil because even the supposed "good" have issues. LOL! Great dialogue, sex-infused witty banter, and a great plot. You won't be bored.
