I didn't realize this was a novella until I read the other reviews. Explains why the audiobook is only 3 hours and the mating between the main characters happened so quickly. It was ok. The narrator was good. I would crack up when she would bring out the Russian accent. The overall plot was meh. I didn't feel like the connection between the characters was fully developed. The conversations about death and destruction in the middle of sex bothered me as well as the constant use of the word p*ssy with a c*nt thrown in when p*ssy became too redundant. Wasn't expecting that kind of language in a Harlequin. It was entertaining enough. Nice way to spend 3 hours while at work to help make the day go by faster.
