I started skimming this book after the first couple of pages. I didn't like any of the characters except for the cow that has the sweet tooth. the hero and heroine are so unlikable and they hate each other so why would they want to be together? Is that supposed to be chemistry? I don't think so. And it didn't read like a contemporary romance. The mood is gray with the manipulative and abusive dying father. I don't want that in my romance. I could care less how the rest of this book turned out. DNF.
