The threesome relationship in Tart didn't work for me like it did in Laid Bare. There was zero hint of attraction between Cal and Gideon in the beginning of the book. So I didn't find it believable that Gideon was willing to have Cal enter his and Jules' relationship. And I didn't like the fact that the relationship between the three starts off because Cal was a selfish a-hole because he saw that Jules was happy with Gideon and Cal was pissed. I felt that Cal's motives were selfish and inconsiderate and I could not fully get behind the three of them being together or having a HEA.
