Daegus was okay but Dark Highlander felt like a repeat of Drustan's book with a less interesting heroine. There was nothing special about Chloe. I was given the impression that Daegus was dark and kind of a bad boy but I didn't get that feel at all. I felt that I would have liked this book more if the typical virginal heroine wasn't the love interest. That is the one issue that I have with this series. Me no likey. And the fact that Daegus was with an older, more experienced woman but didn't deem her worthy to be more than a f*ck buddy totally sucked and turned me off. This is series is so different from KMM's Fever series. I don't find myself invested in the romance or the hero and heroine. I'm going to read Adam Black's book and then I'm done. I've heard that his book is really good and ties in with the Fever world.
