I stumbled upon this author while #convointruding on a twitter convo about someone named Dante and him giving some good tongue loving. LOL! My interest piqued, I asked my girl Dren what book was she talking about and where can I find it!Lost Wages of Sin was a very pleasant surprise. I started reading the book with zero expectations but ended up thoroughly enjoying it. Ava is a demon who works for Lucifer. She had the misfortune of falling for an angel named Sebastian. Her relationship with an angel doesn't sit well with the big boss and jeopardizes Ava's career and life. Dante is Ava's long time friend. They hang out, kick demon ass together, but little does Ava know, Dante has the serious hots for her. With Ava running for her life, Dante is by her side and seizes the opportunity to tell her how he truly feels.Dante is a well-written character. He's a vampire, so of course he's gorgeous and sexy. But what makes him endearing is his sense of humor and his loyalty to Ava. I love stories about friends who become lovers. I think they are so romantic and cute! And the basis of any lasting relationship is friendship. I loved the banter and dialog between Dante and Ava. Both are hilarious and sarcastic. When Ava decides to finally let down her guard and have some sexy time with Dante, the story quickly went from humorous and cute to hot and sexy. And I now understand why Dante's tongue was getting so much air time over twitter. There's even a hashtag for it: #DanteTongueLove. Woot!Lost Wages of Sin was a great read. Rosalie Stanton packed a lot into a little over 100 pages. The story was filled with wonderful characters, great plot and dialog. I loved the other characters that were introduced: Ava's sisters, Sebastian, Lucifer and Big J. I can't wait to read more about them. Ava is definitely a heroine that can hold her own and I LOVE that!Lost Wages of Sin is a light and funny paranormal romance with memorable characters and hot, steamy sex (tongue loving FTW!). I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.
