What starts off as sex only while he's in town investigating the arsons, turns into an intense and emotionally charged affair.Deadly Heat is a great romantic suspense. I figured out who the arsonist was early on but it didn't detract from the story. Kenton and Lora hitting the sheets definitely kept the book interesting when I felt that the killing was a bit too much. There was a point where I was tired of the the "suspense" aspect of the story and wanted the plot to focus more on the "romance."If you're into romantic suspense, definitely read Deadly Heat.
