Lady Seductress's Ball is a short, yet very steamy novella. Olivia and Tristan met 3 years ago and neither one has been able to forget the other. Olivia is married to an older man who's health is failing. Her needs are not being met and she doesn't want to dishonor her marriage but seeking pleasure elsewhere. Tristan has been enchanted by Olivia since the moment he laid eyes on her. But because she is a married woman, he cannot act on it. Fast forward 3 years, and Tristan is attending a dinner party at Olivia's house. He is finally close enough to touch her and he can't resist.I enjoyed this novella a lot. I felt that the attraction between Olivia and Tristan was believable. Nothing was forced. The fact that they'd met 3 years ago provided the foundation for their romance and their instant sexual attraction. It may seem like everything happens very fast but these two people have pined for each other for years.I liked that despite how she felt about Tristan, Olivia wasn't quick to jump into bed with him. She was the dutiful wife and honored her marriage and her ill husband. But a woman has needs and this is how Olivia ends up at The Lady Seductress's Ball where you learn how sexy a grape can be. Overall, it was an enjoyable read. This novella packs a lot of heat and found the romance between Olivia and Tristan believable. I highly recommend if you are a fan of historical erotic romances.
