I could not finish this book. I felt like I was dropped in the middle of a movie and missed the first hour. The book started off as if the reader should already know what is going on. Normally with books in a series, there is a little catch up that the author provides at the beginning to refresh the reader's memory or to provide background info to a reader who is new to a series. There was none of this and my frustration with not knowing or understanding what was going on had me not enjoy what little of the book I read. At first I thought it was just me, because I hadn't read the first 2 books in the series. But I spoke to someone else who read this book and read the previous two,and she had the same issue. Good to know it wasn't just me. This is one book that I don't think I will be picking back up and finishing.
