Thief is the first book I've read written by Ava March and it definitely won't be my last.Lord Benjamin Parker has always questioned his sexuality and he finally decides to test the waters by going to a gambling hell thats' known for catering to men's needs. While there, Ben isn't drawn to any of them until he spots Cavin. Cavin is a thief and he's at the gambling hell to find his next target. Ben becomes Cavin's next target but things change once they are back at the Inn and Ben gives Cavin something that he has never given to any man.I enjoyed Ben and Cavin's relationship. Ben is willing to be all in; he wants Cavin in his life. But Cavin, being a thief, doesn't think he's good enough for Ben. Cavin needs to make some changes in his life and he doesn't want to feel like he's taking advantage of Ben's generosity. Though Cavin tries to hide his past from Ben for fear that Ben will reject him, in the end the secrecy is unnecessary.The sex scenes were smoking hot and did not disappoint. I loved that Ben and Cavin's HEA was open-ended. It leaves a lot of possibilities for their relationship.I thoroughly enjoyed Thief and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the trilogy. I will definitely be reading more works by March.B
