Like everyone else, I've been anxiously waiting for Nick and Kate's story. We were introduced to them in book 1, Serendipity, and have been watching them dance around each other ever since.Fated is a quick read. The build up to Nate and Kate's romance has been building up for 3 books. Kate is relationship shy due to a bad relationship in the past. She doesn't want to be second choice and she feels that when it comes to Nate, she is. Nate and Faith (heroine from Serendipity) dated in high school and when Faith returned, Nate had the idea of starting where they left off. But Faith wasn't having it and Nate and Faith remained friends. Nate needs to convince Kate that he never wanted Faith, really. That is was him seeking something that was easy and familiar.I really enjoyed Fated and the story ended entirely too soon. There was so much to Nate and Kate that their romance could have easily been a full-length novel. I finished Fated satisfied that Nate and Kate finally have their HEA but I wanted so much more. I look forward to revisiting them in future books in the series.
