This book is more of 2.5 than a 3 star. I love Nora Roberts. When I saw on her website that a new quartet was coming out this spring, I squealed with delight. This book is about 4 childhood friends who own a wedding planning business together. The first book focuses on Mac who's the wedding photographer. I tried to like Mac as a character but found it hard to. I think Nora's attempt at making Mac a smart, no nonsense type of gal fell short. And I honestly was not interested in her romance with Carter. I can't wait for the second book (which doesn't come out until December!!!). The 2nd book is focused on Emmaline. I'm hoping this book will be much better.
